‘One-stop shop’ website for information on sustainable farming launched

A new website which promises to “provide unrivalled access to world‐class information resources and champion good farming practice based on ecological principles” has just been launched.

Agricology.co.uk has been created chiefly by the Allerton Trust, the Daylesford Foundation and the Organic Research Centre at Elm Farm, but also has the backing of many other organisations within the industry.

Resources already available include: information on the relationship between clover swards and the stocking rates of sheep; an overview of non-chemical methods to control weeds in arable crop; and how to manage farmland to encourage pollinator populations.

For more information, and to sign up to the newsletter, visit www.agricology.co.uk
